Flex-Force(Part-Time) Warehouse Order Puller
This position will be part-time/temporary with a flexible schedule. Individuals will choose which shifts they want to work prior to the work week. Available shifts include but are not limited to:
Monday-Friday: 7 AM - 11 AM, 12 PM - 5PM, 3 PM - 7 PM
Reports to: Shift Manager
Position Objective:
The Warehouse Order Pullers are responsible for efficient, safe and accurate loading of the delivery trucks and performing the assigned warehouse maintenance tasks.
Description of Physical Tasks:
Keep all warehouse load areas and grounds clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Fills racks, pushes/pulls pallets and loads appropriate company products. Climbing on and off forklifts.
Responsibilities Include
  1. Must report to work on time and clock in and out properly.
  2. Prior to starting the loading process, review the total quantity to be pulled and the truck it is to go on. Discuss any space concerns with the Load Crew Manager.
  3. Build loads for each order in the most efficient manner.
  4. Pull and load the exact amounts given through the voice picking system or system generated pick sheets.
  5. Ensure loads are done accurately and neatly.
  6. Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.
  7. Visually inspect all cases loaded to ensure they are in saleable condition.
  8. Load all carts/pallets onto appropriate route truck.
  9. Load the product on each truck properly to prevent damage.
  10. Clean all areas before leaving at the end of your shift, keeping work area clean.
  11. Clear the pick area of debris and stretch wrap at the end of the truck loading process each night.
  12. Prior to the end of your shift each night ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and properly stored.
  13. Report any accidents to manager on duty immediately.
  14. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company.
  15. Obtain from the Warehouse Manager approval prior to working in excess of your regular schedule.
  16. Dress in uniform and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.
  17. Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
  18. Conduct all of your activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations.
  19. Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.
  20. Adhere to all established inventory control procedures and practices.
  21. Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager and Load Crew Manager.
  22. All other duties as assigned.
