Job Title STEPS Media Depot Media Production Manager Requisition Number TE09434 Department Name 3L700:ITS Customer Spt & Student Enablement Work Location Lexington, KY Salary Range $15/hour Type of Position Temporary Position Time Status Part-Time Required Education Required Related Experience Required License/Registration/Certification Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to30lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 20lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); utilizing mouse, keyboard, and phone for portions of the day. Ability to travel to various locations on and off-campus for meetings.
Shift
30-40 hours per week. Shifts could vary anywhere between 8a-10p M-F (but no more than 8 hrs per day). Will need staffing over summer but not when campus is closed.
Job Summary
Applicant must be familiar with video, audio and image editing programs; DSLR and prosumer cameras; must have basic experience with lighting and audio for video production. You will be responsible for managing multimedia productions for the Media Depot in collaboration with campus and non-campus groups using the Media Depot student staff and equipment. Applicant will lead multimedia workshops, help manage student staff after 5pm, and assist with Smart Campus events
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Video/Audio Image Editing. Previous experience supervising & training employees.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
Video, audio and image editing programs;
DSLR and prosumer cameras; must have basic experience with lighting and audio for video production.
