Job description

Job Title: Yard Operations Personnel/ Vehicle Driver

Location: Boston Autoport- Boston, MA

Status: Part- Time

Hourly Rate: $18.00

Hours: 7AM to Approx. 4-5 PM. 2-3 days per week


Job Summary:


We are seeking reliable and safety- focused Yard Operations Personnel to support daily vehicle movement within our Boston Autoport facility. This role involves driving and positioning automobiles on-site, ensuring efficient flow, organization, and readiness of inventory.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a variety of vehicles (manual shift within 1 month of hire), within the yard/property
  • Move, stage, and park cars according to operational needs
  • Conduct basic vehicle inspections (visual checks for damage, fuel levels, etc.)
  • Follow all site safety rules and traffic protocols
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members


Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Minimum 2- years driving experience
  • Clean driving record and criminal record
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment drug testing
  • Able to drive manual shift within first month of hire
  • Able to work outdoors for entire workday
  • Proficient in English (both verbal and written)
