What is a part time vehicle test driver?

Part Time Vehicle Test Drivers are professionals who operate vehicles to assess their performance, safety, and functionality according to specific test procedures. They work part-time, often for automotive manufacturers or testing agencies, and may drive new or prototype vehicles under controlled conditions. Their feedback helps engineers identify issues and improve vehicle designs before they reach the market. The role typically involves following strict guidelines, reporting on vehicle behavior, and sometimes completing paperwork or data logs. This job is ideal for individuals with a clean driving record and an interest in automobiles.

You may work independently or alongside engineers and technicians, providing feedback and completing detailed reports after each test run. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to communicate observations clearly to the development team.
