Warehouse Agent Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and categorize freight based on size, weight, and shipping requirements.
  • Ensure freight is sorted efficiently for easy loading and unloading.
  • Properly secure, lift, and position freight to prevent damage during transit.
  • Safeguard fragile or high-value items, ensuring they are handled according to specific guidelines.
  • Use appropriate methods to load freight into over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, or straight trucks.
  • Ensure loads are balanced and secured in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move freight efficiently within the warehouse or loading dock.
  • Ensure the proper handling of hazardous materials when using pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations when unloading and handling shipments of hazardous materials.
  • Properly store and label hazardous materials to prevent contamination or accidents.
  • Comply with OSHA and other industry safety standards while handling freight.
  • Ensure all freight handling procedures are executed in a safe manner to prevent injury or damage.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the Lead/Supervisor and outlined in the scope of work.
Warehouse Agent Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
  • A valid, unexpired driver's license.
  • Able to read and understand flight schedule(s).
  • Sign or clock in/out at the beginning and end of every shift.
  • Report to work in appropriate uniform attire, including PPE.
  • Follow all safety protocols.
  • Adhere to rules and regulations outlined in Employee Handbook at all times.
  • Demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior to fellow employees, airline personnel, passengers, and other company employees working within the assigned area.
  • Ability to obtain AOA badge, CBP clearance, and USPS mail certification.
  • Authorized to work in the United States – We Use E-Verify.
