Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Status Part-time
Reports To: Director
At Fairclough Behavior Services, we strive to create a positive difference and significantly improve the quality of life for children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental diagnoses, by providing effective and affordable ABA therapy based on the childs individual need. Our commitment is to establish a cooperative partnership with children and you as their caregivers through trust, respect, communication, and compassion through this evolving journey
Duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with developmental disabilities, particularly autism and special needs.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, implementing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as educators and speech therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians or other staff members involved in client treatment.
- Provide support and guidance to families of clients, offering resources and strategies for managing challenging behaviors.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis.
Requirements:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligibility for certification.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Strong understanding of behavioral principles and techniques used in applied behavior analysis.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
