Position Title
Lead Medical Assistant- Primary Care National Landing (Part-Time)
Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
Serves as a resource for Medical Assistants. The Lead Medical Assistant provides general administrative and clinical support to physicians and other practitioners. She or he ensures the clinical environment is cleaned, stocked, and ready for patient care and that medical supplies are maintained at all times. The Lead Medical Assistant assists with intake and patient flow; takes vital signs, and performs office procedures per department protocol. She/he is responsible for accurately documenting clinical activities, per procedure.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
College diploma or certificate is preferred.
Experience:
Two years of healthcare/medical - primary care/office experience is required.
Certification/Licensure:
Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Credential to be obtained in six months.
BLS certification required.
