Job description

What You'll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work alongside licensed pharmacists to provide exceptional patient care while ensuring prescriptions are prepared accurately and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting patients in person and over the phone.
  • Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system.
  • Count, label, package, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
  • Process insurance claims and assist with resolving third-party billing issues.
  • Assist with medication and inventory ordering, stocking, and organization.
  • Maintain accurate records and support pharmacy workflow.
  • Learn about medications, including brand/generic equivalents and therapeutic classes.
  • Support patient care programs and pharmacy services.
  • Assist customers with over-the-counter products and general store inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacists and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred
  • Previous pharmacy technician experience or pharmacy training
  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration (or ability to obtain upon hire)
