Job description

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education
High School Diploma/GED.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Job Conditions
Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Preferred Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age. Must have driver's license for 1 year.

Pay Transparency: $21.05/hr. plus $3.00/hr. pay incentive

Additional Details: Part-Time position. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-1:00pm. The desired location for this position would be Brentwood, TN. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
