Job description

Join Our Team at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum!

Looking for a flexible, event-driven role that’s perfect for retirees, students, or as a second gig? We’re hiring part-time Ticket Sellers for the Coliseum! If you thrive in a lively environment where no two shifts are the same, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of some of the biggest events in town. You’ll get to work nights, weekends, and holidays—right in the heart of the action!

Your Role: As a Ticket Seller, you'll work directly under the Ticket Office Manager, ensuring every guest has a smooth, hassle-free experience when purchasing tickets. Whether you're handling in-person sales or answering inquiries over the phone, your mission is simple: deliver world-class customer service. This position is perfect for anyone who loves to engage with the public, balance a cash drawer, and work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master the ticketing system to sell tickets for a wide range of exciting events.
  • Provide event details and answers over the phone to help guests plan their perfect outing.
  • Ensure your cash drawer is perfectly balanced by the end of each shift.
  • Be a problem-solver for guests, handling any ticket-related issues with ease.
  • Participate in Coliseum emergency procedures—you’ll know the building like the back of your hand.
  • Support other team members and take on additional tasks as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Strong cash handling skills—you're a pro at balancing the books.
  • Comfortable using computers and office equipment.
  • Flexible availability—you’re ready to work nights, weekends, holidays, and event days.
  • Excellent verbal communication and top-tier customer service skills.

Your Work Environment:

  • Enjoy the thrill of working in a fast-paced, high-energy office setting.
  • You’ll move around—standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs as needed.
  • Exposure to noise from the crowds and excitement of Coliseum events.

Who You’ll Interact With:

  • You’ll be in regular contact with other Coliseum team members and the public, ensuring smooth and friendly service for all guests.

Hours & Commitment:

  • Hours are flexible but will include nights, weekends, and holidays depending on the event schedule.

Pay:

  • Starting at 14.99 with an increase to 15.59 at 90 Days
