What does a part time ticket agent do?

A Part Time Ticket Agent is responsible for assisting customers with purchasing tickets, providing information about schedules and fares, and handling reservations at venues such as transportation stations or entertainment events. They may also help with customer inquiries, process payments, print tickets, and resolve minor issues related to ticketing. Working part time means they typically work fewer hours per week compared to full-time agents, often covering peak periods or specific shifts. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role. Part Time Ticket Agents may also be required to handle cash and maintain accurate records.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time ticket agent, and why are they important?
