Part Time Terrorism Research Jobs (NOW HIRING)

This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence Analysis. As a Intelligence Research Specialist, you will function as a counterintelligence (CI) analyst, conducting research and analysis regarding CI threats to the Treasury Department. CI threat analysis is focused on analyzing the capabilities and intentions of foreign intelligence entities (FIE) to target Treasury, including the supply chain.Qualifications:You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:

• Identifying and assessing threats to an organization; AND
• Developing reports and assessments; AND
• Briefing and advising leadership on a range of issues; AND
• Collaborating on projects with cross-functional teams or organizations; AND
• Representing teams or organizations in meetings and other forums.

Specialized experience for the GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in ALL of the following:

• Independently researching, interpreting, and analyzing information from multiple sources; AND
• Composing reports, assessments, studies, or presentations; AND
• Coordinating on projects with cross-functional teams or organizations; AND
• Representing teams or organizations in meetings.

Specialized experience for the GS-11: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as ALL of the following:

• Researching, interpreting, and analyzing information from multiple sources; AND
• Composing reports, assessments, studies, or presentations; AND
• Participating in or contributing to meetings and other forums.

OR
You may substitute education for general or specialized experience as follows:

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR
• 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR
• LL.M., if related.

OR
You may qualify by a combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
