Registered Nurse Neuro Spine- Part Time, Nights
Status: Part Time
Shift: Third

About the Unit:
The twenty-four-bed Neuroscience unit offers specialized nursing assessment and care to patients with both neurological and neurosurgical diagnoses. Typical patients include those with a diagnosis of stroke, post-op craniotomy, post-op discectomy and other back surgeries, as well as post-cerebral embolization. Unit nursing care is complemented by the expertise of two Neuroscience Coordinators. New Graduate Nurses are welcome.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Neuro Spine to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients, in alignment with Kentucky Nursing Laws and our organizational policies. You will play a critical role in promoting positive patient outcomes, enhancing the quality of care, and contributing to a collaborative professional environment. Active participation in unit-based and hospital shared governance councils is expected to drive change and foster a supportive practice environment.
Requirements
Associate's degree in nursing.
Active Kentucky RN License.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
