LIMITED PUMP INSTALLATION INSTRUCTOR
Faculty Part-Time
The position of Limited Pump Installation Instructor is Open Until Filled to create a qualified instructor pool.
Are you interested in pushing the boundaries of what education could be for a dynamic community college in a beautiful rural setting? If yes, then this is the position for you!
As the Part-Time Limited Pump Installation Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and teaching the specialty Limited Pump Installation Course that serves in lieu of the one-year experience required for license. This is a practical application course designed to provide hands-on training in the wiring and troubleshooting of pump control panels. Course content includes basic electoral theory, electrical safety, motor control theory and applicable portions of the National Electrical Code.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced electrician to lead and teach this course. The College department provides an instructional coordinator who supports logistics, students, and the instructor to ensure maximum student learning and a positive experience. This is a short-term commitment to teach this 30-hour training over four days once annually.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician with Residential experience. Oregon Electrical Supervisor's License preferred.
  • Experienced Installer who is familiar with the National Electricians Code.
  • Willingness and ability to use educational technology to deliver the course (training provided).
