Job description

We are seeking a Part-Time Technology Support Specialist to join our Technology department. In this role, you will serve as the front-line technical problem solver for our community, delivering high-quality Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to students, parents, and instructional staff via live chat, telephone and our ticketing system. Beyond resolving daily troubleshooting needs like login issues, LMS navigation errors, and browser compatibility issues, you will play an important role in our internal operations by managing user accounts, configuring our Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS), and working with the technology team to onboard and offboard new instructors and staff.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical expertise and exceptional customer service, with experience diagnosing Mac OS X and cloud-based architecture anomalies. The ideal candidate possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with digital learning platforms like Canvas, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for users of all tech-fluency levels.

Because this role operates in a fast-paced, virtual environment, success requires a highly organized self-starter who can prioritize a high-volume workload, spot and escalate recurring technical patterns, and maintain proactive, transparent communication with leadership.
