About the Role
A growing Tax Advisory firm is hiring a Tax Operations Admin to own the day-to-day operational side of the tax practice and keep client service, deadlines, workflow, and internal processes moving smoothly. This role is a strong fit for someone who has worked in a CPA firm, understands the pace of tax season, and wants the flexibility of a part-time role with the option of full-time during tax season. You will be part of a four-person administrative team that knows the workflow and prides themselves on organization and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage tax workflow from document intake through e-filing and delivery.
  • Prepare extensions, vouchers, letters, engagement letters, tax organizers, newsletters, and other paraprofessional tax support items.
  • Collaborate on and coordinate day-to-day workflow needs with tax and operations leadership.
  • Identify process improvements and help implement systems, automation tools, and workflow updates as the firm grows.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a CPA firm, professional services firm, or similar operations-focused role preferred.
  • Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, Smart Vault, and e-file systems strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and improving workflows as the firm grows.
