Overview

The Premium Lead Serverย is responsible forย overseeing the serving of guests in all Premium areas toย includesย both sideline clubs as well as theย picnic areas. The Premium Lead Server must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment. The Premium Lead Server willย assistย the Premium Manager with projects including training,ย inventoryย andย special events. The Premium Lead Server must maintainย excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per businessย need.ย 

This role is a hands-on service role.

This is a seasonal role from March 1, 2026 and will end on September 30, 2026.ย 

This role pays an hourly rate of $21.00-$24.00 CAD and is tip eligible

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overseeing theย setting upย of food & beverage service areas within clubs based on specific event needsย 
  • Ensures all areas areย set upย prior to eventย 
  • Responsible for ensuring quality and hospitality throughout all Premium areasย 
  • Responsible for communication between counter parts of the departmentย 
  • Responsible for organization and preparation of eventsย 
  • Responsible for supervising team members on non-event and event daysย 
  • Direct any other inquiries (notย regardingย food and beverage) to the correct entity and/or personnelย 
  • Monitor andย maintainย food qualityย 
  • Assistย management with monitoring department byย maintainingย policies and procedures, upholdingย safetyย and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guestsย 
  • Maintain, resolve, and enforce cash handling policies and proceduresย 
  • Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and proceduresย 
  • Monitor andย maintainย inventory control and product requisitionย 
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompanimentsย 
  • Responsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages.ย You mustย checkย guest'sย ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.ย 
  • Responsible forย observingย guests to respond to anyย additionalย requestsย 
  • Supervises theย setupย ofย suitesย functions including linens, dishware,ย glasswareย and silverware.ย 
  • Maintains sanitation,ย healthย and safety standards in work areas.ย 
  • Must showย demonstratedย ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.ย 
  • Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.ย 
  • Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated andย taking action to cutย off alcohol to such individualsย 
  • Enforcesย all Oak View Group policies and procedures.ย 
  • Practices excellent Human Resources skillsย regardingย employee relations, corrective action,ย coachingย and counseling employees and completes all necessaryย HR-relatedย paperwork.ย 
  • Assists Management team with projects including training,ย inventoryย andย special events.ย 
  • All otherย dutiesย assigned by the managers and supervisors.ย 
Qualifications
  • Ability to lead and supervise the work of others.ย 
  • Ability to actively and successfully perform all service tasks related to this role, including running orders, reset workย areasย andย deliveringย exceptional guest experience.ย 
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, managementย staffย and guests in a clear,ย business-likeย and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive,ย enthusiasticย and cooperative work environment.ย 
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.ย 
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.ย 
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.ย 
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cashย reconciliationย and product inventory.ย 

Educationย andย Experienceย 

  • At least 2 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable Education.ย
