Steven Singer Jewelers is seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler to join our team at our Newtown, PA location. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled craftsperson who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a collaborative, fast-paced retail environment. We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. This role is hourly and includes weekends as part of a regular, rotating schedule.About the RoleAs a Bench Jeweler at Steven Singer Jewelers, you will play an important role in supporting both our sales floor and repair operations. You'll be responsible for high-quality jewelry repairs, maintenance, and finishing, ensuring every piece meets our standards before returning to a customer. This position is ideal for someone who is confident working at the bench, can manage their time effectively, and values precision, consistency, and craftsmanship.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform ring sizing, stone setting, polishing, and refinishingComplete rhodium dipping and final finishing workDiagnose repair needs and execute appropriate solutionsMaintain consistency and quality across all bench workWork with a variety of metals, including gold and platinumMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient bench workspaceCommunicate clearly with team members regarding repairs and timelinesFollow company procedures and quality standards at all times Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience as a primary or lead bench jewelerProven experience with:Ring sizing and structural repairsStone setting (prong, channel, and basic settings)Polishing, finishing, and rhodium dippingStrong attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanshipAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environmentComfortable handling multiple jobs while meeting deadlines Additional Skills (A Plus, Not Required)Casting experienceWax carving or wax makingExperience with advanced or custom repair work Portfolio & Skill DemonstrationIf you have a portfolio, website, or professional profile that highlights your work, we would be happy to review it during the application or interview process.
