Requirements

SolAmerica Energy is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to join our team in our Atlanta, GA office. This role offers a unique, hands-on educational experience in the operational phase of commercial and industrial solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. You will primarily support Project Execution activities with a distinct focus on project documentation, financial analysis, and maintenance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Documentation & System Migration: Implement the Asset Management Document Management plan by migrating existing project files into the new SiteTracker protocol. Perform bulk file management and rename files to comply with updated standards.
  • Financial Documentation & Support: Organize and maintain essential documentation for financing purposes, including generation/revenue reports, corrective maintenance records, As-Built Drawings, warranty documents, and O&M reports. Support the team with financial modeling and general Excel-based analysis.
  • Technical Case Study & Analysis: Conduct technical analysis of "before and after" performance data related to solar module cleaning at the Carter Farms site. Develop and author a comprehensive case study analyzing the performance improvements resulting from module washing.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical) or Business (Finance, Economics, or a related field).
  • Locally based in the Atlanta, GA area with the ability to commute to the office.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively with a team and independently on self-directed projects.
Internship Duration & Schedule

Term: 9 to 10 weeks

Anticipated Dates: Monday, June 1, 2026 – late July/early August 2026

Weekly Hours: Part-time, capped at a maximum of 25 hours per week.

Daily Schedule: Flexible within standard business hours. We will work with you to establish a consistent weekly schedule that meets business needs while allowing you to enjoy your summer.
