Job description

LHH is seeking an experienced Part-time Bookkeeper to join a leading organization's accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with financial records, maintaining accurate accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $33-$35 an hour
Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate financial records and accounting files
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
· Prepare and post journal entries
· Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
· Monitor invoices, payments, and outstanding balances
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
· Maintain vendor and customer records
· Research and resolve discrepancies or billing issues
· Prepare financial reports and account summaries
· Assist with audits and other accounting-related projects as needed
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
· Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
