Position Summary:
Compensation: $14.42/hr
Job Summary
The Part-Time Lab Technician and Front Desk Support staff member serves as the primary point of contact for the Academic Success Center. This role ensures excellent customer service by greeting visitors, routing students to academic support services, maintaining center organization, and performing essential administrative tasks.
Job Duties:
  • Student Support: Greet students, answer phone calls, and direct students to appropriate tutoring sessions or resources.
  • Scheduling: Schedule, modify, and update student tutoring appointments accurately using campus management software.
  • Operations: Adjust staff and tutoring schedules under the direct supervision and instruction of the Center Manager.
  • Facility Management: Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming tutoring spaces and student labs.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor, organize, and restock center supplies and educational materials.
  • General Support: Complete special projects and other administrative duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle student records in accordance with FERPA.
