Position Summary:
Choice House is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Staff member to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our sober living homes and inpatient treatment facility. This role is essential in creating a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for our residents.

We have a location in Gunbarrel/Boulder and our sober living homes are located in Louisville. Transportation is required for this position.

Schedule:
Part-time - schedule to be determined and will be within normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize common areas, resident rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, hallways, offices, and clinical areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas
  • Empty trash and replace liners
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
  • Follow infection control procedures and proper sanitation standards
  • Restock cleaning, paper, and hygiene supplies as needed
  • Safely use and store cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to management
  • Maintain professional boundaries with residents and clients
  • Ensure confidentiality and respect privacy at all times

Qualifications:

  • Prior janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, residential, or treatment settings is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Reliable transportation - REQUIRED
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, repetitive motion)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Background check and drug screening required
