Job description

Job Title: Salesforce Performance Tester Job Location: Remote Compensation: $75/hr to $78/hr Eligibility/Clearance: Public Trust Clearance Required. Job Description: As a Salesforce Performance Tester supporting CMS , you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the scalability, reliability and responsiveness of Salesforce applications across multiple Salesforce environments. You will plan, design, execute and analyze performance tests across Salesforce Orgs, Integrations, API's and custom components to validate system behavior under peak and sustained loads.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): - Developing performance test strategies specific to Salesforce applications on Service cloud and Experience cloud . - Building and executing performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner etc. - Simulating user loads for Salesforce User Interface, Experience cloud portals, API integrations, and batch/async processes.

- Validating response times, throughput, latency, governor limits, platform events and async queue responses and document performance defects with detailed reproduction steps and logs. - Capturing, analyzing, and reporting performance metrics related to Apex, SOQL queries, flows, REST/SOAP APIs, LWC Components etc. - Evaluating integration performances across external API's, AWS/Snowflake data fetches and authentication flows.

- Working with developers, architects and cross functional teams to optimize performance across code, configurations, integrations and caching etc. and to set up more advanced monitoring as need to analyze system performance. - Validating scalability for high traffic public portals, high volume API's, seasonal surges and enterprise releases.

- Participating in Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, grooming, estimation) to support innovation and enhancement of applications through iteration/functionality testing. - Conducting peer reviews of test cases and test documents. Requirements: - Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification preferred - Selected candidate must be available to work M-F 9AM-5PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) and will be expected to actively attend and participate in DAILY meetings.

- Selected candidate cannot work on side-projects/part-time roles. - Must have the willingness and ability to obtain a Federal T4 Public Trust after starting. - 8+ years of hands-on performance testing experience, with at least 4 years of Salesforce performance testing experience.

- Hands on experience working and understanding large, complex Salesforce projects, with proficiency in navigating Salesforce and comprehensive understanding of Salesforce terminology. - Expertise in QA Test management on Salesforce, including functional and non-functional testing, and executing Test Plans and Regression Test Suites, including UI, back end, components and integrations, using Web and API automation - Hands-on experience developing automation test scripts from scratch and performing other test automation activities. - Experience using tools like Micro Focus/OpenText, Performance Center (LoadRunner), Selenium Webdriver, and Cucumber with RESTful services, integrating them with Jenkins/GitHub.

- Expert experience developing testing documentation, such as Test Summary Reports and requirements traceability reports, and analyzing performance test reports to identify application and infrastructure performance issues and bottlenecks as well as assess and optimize network performance for maximum efficiency. - Experience testing Salesforce-to-Snowflake ETL/ELT pipeline performance. - Knowledge of API integration performance testing (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for automated performance testing. - Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to various stakeholders, management levels, and non-technical audiences - Must have resided within the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years. Desired Qualifications: - Experience working and/or interfacing with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

- Ability to resolve issues with little oversight; ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solutions. - Proficiency with data exchange tools and technologies including APIs. - Experience understanding and interpreting customer business requirements, writing functional test cases and performing software quality tests.

- Experience with proactive monitoring of enterprise environments using technologies, such as New Relic, AppDynamics, DynaTrace, and/or Splunk. - Expert understanding of Salesforce best practices. - Experience testing real-time data sync vs batch processing performance trade-offs - Experience working in a Scrum and/or SAFe Agile environment.

- Salesforce Administration experience. - Experince using JMeter. - Expert experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
