Job description

SUMMARY:

Attends to customer and slot machine needs. Performs hopper fills and verifies hand pays. Performs minor repairs on slot machines, complete necessary paperwork and makes accurate payments to customers. Make currency/coin/ticket exchange for customers.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide customer assistance by performing minor maintenance to slot machines.
  • Contact Slot Technicians to make repairs that cannot be completed by the attendant, Provide accurate payment of machine credits to customers.
  • Answer customer questions about machine operation and the Casino.
  • Resolve customer problems and complaints.
  • Performs minor maintenance of all internal kiosk units.
  • Acknowledge jackpot winners and make the necessary arrangements for jackpot verification and payout.
  • Make change for customers as needed; assist customer with other requests to always ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous cash handling experience and/or knowledge of cash handling procedures.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability and Knowledge of effective money handling procedures.
  • Ability to make change and mentally perform basic math calculations.
  • Skill in managing multiple projects and priorities.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)

  • Ability to lift, move and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Constantly walking and standing.
  • Constant hearing, seeing and talking.
  • Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Close spaces while working with others.
