Job description

Essential Duties/Core Competencies:

  • Explain various game combinations, payouts, and jackpots.
  • Reset slot errors, whenever necessary.
  • Respond to all customersโ€™ needs in assigned area.
  • Render general assistance to gaming players, and forwards complaints to management as necessary.
  • Safeguard company assets, and gaming keys.
  • Replace gaming machine cash out tickets.
  • Assist customers with gaming machines where necessary, and also provides directions, general information about upcoming events, and assists with slot operation, and services.
  • Promote excellent customer service by answering patron questions, understands all marketing & property information, and rendering general assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain an open line of communications with superiors.
  • Assist customers with player card sign ups.
  • Demonstrate and provide outstanding customer and employee relations at all times.
  • Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

ย Work/Educational Experience:ย 

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess a high school or equivalent diploma and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the New York State Lottery regulations.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.

Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and inference. Ability to create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
