As a sales engineer on our team, you'll work as a critical partner with the sales team to map customer challenges to innovative technology solutions. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions engineering role
  • 2+ years of experience with core technologies relevant to zero trust such as SASE, XDR, SDN, SIEM, or SOAR
  • Experience in cloud solutions, enterprise security architecture, hosting infrastructure, and tactical security solutions
  • Experience with architecting Zero Trust solutions, road maps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207 and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture
  • Experience working collaboratively with sales teams to develop strategies and achieve revenue goals
  • Knowledge of DoW contract types such as FFP, CPFF, PWS, and SOW interpretation and compliance matrices
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with DoW network and cybersecurity architecture and practices
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and sales tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Certificate of Competence in Zero Trust (CCZT), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Security+ Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
