From whisking BHYC employees to and from the Club to assisting members on exciting excursions, you're the linchpin of transportation. Safety is your top priority as you navigate the scenic routes of the greater Petoskey and Charlevoix areas, sharing helpful tips and ensuring a smooth ride. With your keen eye for detail, you keep the shuttle sparkling clean and in top-notch condition, while your knack for communication and organization ensures every trip is a success. Job Duties:
  • Transport BHYC employees and/or members to destinations according to event/work schedules
  • Welcome employees/members when boarding the shuttle
  • Effectively communicate safety information to passengers
  • Assist with loading/unloading luggage as needed
  • Maintain safe driving protocols at all times
  • Conduct daily and weekly inspections of the shuttle vehicle(s) and complete logs
  • Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to maintenance department in a timely manner
  • Ensure shuttle is kept clean and presentable
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years experience in commercial driving preferred
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • CDL License preferred but not required
  • Clean driving record required
  • Chauffer's license required (club will cover cost to get one if you do not have one)
  • Must be able to work some weekends, evenings and/or holidays
