Job description

Encore service Group is 100% healthcare focused currently serving the Midwest. We provide non-emergency medical transportation, shuttle services, valet parking, service excellence consulting and coaching, porting, parking/garage management and welcome desk/concierge services.


We are currently looking to fill a new shuttle bus driver position for one of our Northwest Hospital Campuses. This position will require you driving on and off the hospital campus.Due to the size of our shuttle bus all candidates must hold a valid CDL class B or C with passenger endorsement or CDL class A (no passenger endorsement needed). This shuttle is a 25-passenger vehicle.


Courtesy Shuttle Driver: Part-time, M-F, $20.00 per hour, 2:00PM-6:00PM, 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week


This position is for a candidate that enjoys working with the public, driving and customer service. This position requires you to pick up and drop off staff of the hospital from designated surface lots/garages miles from hospital and transport them to the hospital (and back). You will be driving loop of designated drop off stops and pick up stops your entire shift.


We are looking for responsible, detail oriented, engaged and compassionate candidates for our Shuttle Transportation Team. Candidate must have a clean driving record, be able to pass a drug test and background check. Due to insurance compliance, you must be over the age of 25.


Job Duties include but not limited to:


  • Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts ready to work
  • Greet patients, guests and facility staff in a friendly and courteous manner and address them by name whenever possible
  • Adhere to Encore Service Group uniform policy and maintain a well kempt and professional appearance
  • Transport staff in a safe, courteous and efficient manner to and from hospital entrances to garages/surface lots
  • Maintain a polite and professional demeanor at all times, regardless of the situation
  • Open doors and provide any assistance needed
  • Actively seek opportunities to exceed expectations
  • Must be responsible, reliable and punctual.
  • Must have a valid CDL (class B or C) with passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Applicants must also have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ensure passengers are receiving timely service
  • All legal driving laws must be maintained throughout your shift, including parking zones, speed limits and all safety measures.


Background in guest transportation and/or customer service preferred but not required.


For Insurance purposes, Drivers need to be a minimum of 25 years of age. Candidates less than 25 years old may inquire about additional positions within our organization, such as valet at Trinity Health Hospital.
