Come Join the Van Eerden Team Today!

Van Eerden Foodservice has a need for a Shuttle Driver. This role shuttles loaded double trailers from our Grand Rapids Distribution center to one of our drop yards in Michigan and or Indiana, then back to Grand Rapids.

Schedule

Night Shift that Departs from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sunday- Thursday- Start time 8pm, typical end time 6:00am

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,450 and $1,650 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic.

About the Job:
  • Ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient deliveries of double trailers to and from Grand Rapids Distribution Center.
  • Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment.
  • Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
  • Perform all work within Company safety practices.
  • This list of duties is not intended to be all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary given the situation or need.
Requirements
  • 21+ years of age.
  • 1 year of experience preferred. May consider candidates with new obtained CDL-A License.
  • Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.
  • Doubles Endorsement is required.
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Drug Clearinghouse.
  • Background check free from felonies.
