Job description

St. Stephen's Episcopal School is seeking a part-time afternoon Bus Driver to join our team! Available work hours are Monday - Friday from 4 - 10 pm.

Job Duties:

  • Safely operate a bus or other commercial vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. 
  • Transport students to and from campus for trips, athletic events, or other special events on the weekends.
  • Maintain a clean and mechanically sound vehicle at all times.
  • Ensure the safety of all bus riders, including correcting bus rider behavior as needed to maintain a safe environment.
  • Perform inspections of the vehicle before and after each route.
  • Attend safety meetings as required.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous experience in bus driving or commercial driving is preferred. 
  • Must have current, unexpired class C driver's license and clean driving record; a CDL driver's license is not required.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
