Registered Nurse (Part-time)

Position Overview:
RTI is looking for a Registered Nurse to pick up 15-20 hours per week, offering a flexible schedule. AT RTI, we work with people integrated into the community, living in their own homes and in our residential settings. Our mission is to help people improve their quality of life by empowering them with knowledge, resources and skills and treating them with dignity and respect. Our registered nurses work directly with program leadership to ensure the medical side of what we do for our clients is going in accordance with expectations and requirements. Review of records, conducting training, engaging with clients. You will report to the Director of CRS.
Role Responsibilities:
- Review of medication administration records
- Check-ins as needed with CRS clients
- Conducting staff training on medication administration and diabetic management
- Collaborating with CRS pharmacy on medication refills and changes
- HIPPA and 245D Compliance
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Active Registration with the MN Board of Nursing.
- Ability to Pass a Department of Human Services background check.
- Ability to pass BCA Criminal Background check.
- Preference for those with prior experience working with persons diagnosed with a severe mental illness, or in crisis response capacities
- Willingness to travel within the Metro Area, for applicable mileage reimbursements, with a current driver’s license, clean record, and personal vehicle with insurance.
- Posses a person-centered approach, consistent with the Philosophical approach of the individual program and RTI
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.

Physical amp; Mental Requirements:
Employees in this role must be able to:
- Walk, stand, sit, bend, climb stairs, use a ladder, and perform crisis prevention/intervention techniques
- Use hands for writing, typing, data entry, and medication dispensing
- Lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally exert physical effort during duties
- Maintain vision and hearing necessary for reading charts, operating office equipment, using a computer, and driving a vehicle
Compensation: $37 per hour
Type: Part-Time, 15-20 hours per week
Location: In-person, Hennepin County
