As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at an industrial manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control access to restricted operational areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
