As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Report access control concerns, unusual activity, and maintenance issues involving gates, doors, badges, or surveillance-related equipment according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
