As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.
  • Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and other security-related issues to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
