Other Conditions: Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2026 - 2027. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Conduct lectures and/or laboratory courses in Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or other courses as needed..
  2. Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Master's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field from an accredited college or university (degree must be fully completed at time of application)
  2. Evidence of satisfactory teaching ability.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated high-quality teaching in a multicultural setting.
  2. College-level chemistry teaching experience beyond the teaching assistant level.
  3. Demonstrated ability to teach lecture and laboratory courses in areas such as biochemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, or environmental chemistry.

Expense of the evaluation shall be borne by the applicant. All requested documents/information become the property of the University. All minimum qualifications must be met by the closing date.
