Receptionist

Job Summary

Fairport Rehab & Nursing Center, a 142-bed Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to provide exceptional front desk coverage on Saturdays (11:45am-4:00pm) and Sundays (3:45pm-9:00pm) with opportunities to pick up additional shifts as needed. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for providing a warm and professional welcome to residents, visitors, and staff, while also handling phone calls, mail, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities

  • Operate the facility switchboard and paging system with patience, courtesy, and professionalism

  • Receive, screen, and relay incoming calls, forward phone messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff according to facility policy

  • Welcome and direct residents, visitors, consultants, emergency personnel, and other guests

  • Assist with visitor screening procedures as needed

  • Sign for deliveries and assist with sorting incoming mail

  • Perform basic clerical duties and provide administrative support as assigned

  • Maintain a warm, welcoming, and professional front desk environment

  • Interact respectfully and courteously with residents, families, visitors, and staff

Requirements
