Job Summary
Atlanta Metropolitan State College is seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused Part-Time Registrar's Office Assistant to support CRM operations and the processing of applications for readmission. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for returning students by maintaining accurate records, managing communication workflows, and assisting with readmission processes.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update student records within the College's CRM and student information systems
  • Process applications for readmission, including reviewing documentation and verifying eligibility requirements
  • Communicate with prospective returning students regarding application status, deadlines, and next steps
  • Ensure compliance with FERPA and institutional policies when handling student records
  • Track and manage CRM workflows, tasks, and communications related to readmission
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Academic Advising, and academic departments to facilitate timely decisions
  • Respond to student inquiries via phone, email, and CRM platforms in a professional and customer-focused manner
  • Assist with data validation, reporting, and record audits
  • Provide general administrative support to the Registrar's Office as needed

Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree *and* One year of related work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a higher education environment
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Element 451, Salesforce, Slate, Banner, or similar systems)
  • Customer service or administrative support experience

Proposed Salary
The proposed Salary for this position is $14.00 - $16.00
