Medical Transportation Driver (Prosthetic Patient Services)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Medical Transportation Driver to safely transport prosthetic patients to and from our office and medical appointments. The ideal candidate prioritizes patient safety, comfort, and dignity while maintaining a clean, well-maintained vehicle and providing courteous assistance during transport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport prosthetic patients to scheduled medical appointments, prosthetic fittings, doctor office visits
  • Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed, ensuring proper use of mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers, prosthetics)
  • Secure patients and mobility equipment properly to ensure safe transport
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized van at all times, following infection control and safety protocols
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, caregivers, and office staff
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, schedules, and required documentation
  • Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Safety & Cleanliness Expectations

  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks before transporting patients
