What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.

  • Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.

  • Prioritize and time manage when there are many guests in store.

  • Follow all procedures for the cash register and ring every transaction up as it occurs.

  • Clean and sanitize work areas or equipment.

  • Work well under pressure with a positive "team" attitude.

  • Take the initiative to "Make it Right" whenever necessary and read guests needs.

  • Effectively multitask (ring drinks, listen to guests, fill items, answer phones, etc.).

  • Create merchandise displays that are up-to-date and attractive to guests.

  • Recognize our loyal guests, or "regulars", by their names and preferred drinks.

  • Receive and ticket all incoming merchandise.

  • Effectively communicate with fellow associates.

  • Complete daily opening/closing/check-out checklists.

  • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more.
