Part Time Rpa Developer information

What are part time RPA Developers?

Part time RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Developers are professionals who design, develop, and implement automation solutions using RPA tools, but work fewer hours than full-time employees. They typically help organizations automate repetitive and rule-based tasks to improve efficiency. Part-time RPA Developers may work on a contract or freelance basis, often supporting multiple projects or clients. Their responsibilities can include creating bots, maintaining automation scripts, and collaborating with business teams to optimize workflows.

What is the difference between Part Time Rpa Developer vs Rpa Analyst?

AspectPart Time Rpa DeveloperRpa Analyst
Required CredentialsRPA certifications, programming skillsRPA certifications, process analysis skills
Work EnvironmentProject-based, flexible hours, remote or onsiteOffice setting, collaborative environment, regular hours
Employer & Industry UsageTech firms, finance, healthcareBusiness process teams, consulting firms

Part Time Rpa Developers focus on building and implementing automation solutions, often working on specific projects with flexible hours. Rpa Analysts analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities, typically working in a more structured environment. Both roles require similar certifications but differ in daily responsibilities and work settings.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time RPA Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time RPA Developer, you need a solid understanding of process automation, programming logic, and experience with robotic process automation (RPA) platforms, typically supported by a background in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere, and relevant certifications, are commonly required. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication help RPA developers identify automation opportunities and deliver solutions that meet business needs. These skills ensure efficient automation of repetitive tasks, driving productivity and accuracy across business processes.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time RPA Developers, and how can they be addressed?

Part-time RPA Developers often encounter challenges such as managing workloads across multiple projects and quickly adapting to changing automation requirements. With limited hours, prioritizing tasks and maintaining clear communication with team members becomes essential to ensure smooth progress. Utilizing collaborative tools, maintaining thorough documentation, and setting clear expectations with stakeholders can help overcome these challenges. Additionally, staying updated on the latest RPA technologies and best practices enables part-time developers to deliver effective automation solutions despite time constraints.

Job description

Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.
We're accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.
Hadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.
Join Us in Advancing Modern Welding Systems
We are redefining welding by integrating advanced joining technologies, automation, and process control into a unified manufacturing system. From precision orbital tube welds to high-throughput robotic cells, we treat welding as a critical, data-driven discipline that directly impacts structural integrity, performance, and scalability.
We are solving complex challenges across arc welding, laser systems, resistance welding, and automated joining platforms. This requires engineers with deep process expertise who can operate across both manual and highly automated environments.
This is a general opportunity to engage welding engineers with specialized experience across key welding processes and technologies.
Core Specialty Areas
  • Arc Welding (Manual & Semi-Automated): Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW - circumferential and linear/seam welding)
  • Advanced / Precision Welding: Orbital Tube Welding (OTW), Plasma Arc Welding (PAW - robotic cell)
  • Laser Welding Systems: Laser weld cells, manual handheld laser welding
  • Resistance Welding: Resistance Spot Welding (RSW), stud welding
  • High-Deposition / Automated Welding: Submerged Arc Welding (SAW - robotic cell)

What You'll Do
  • Apply specialized welding process knowledge to develop, qualify, and optimize welding operations
  • Establish and control welding parameters (heat input, travel speed, shielding gas, etc.) to ensure weld integrity and repeatability
  • Partner with manufacturing, quality, and automation teams to deploy stable, scalable welding systems
  • Develop WPS/PQR documentation and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts related to weld defects, distortion, and throughput

What We're Looking For
  • Degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one welding process or system listed above
  • Strong understanding of weld metallurgy, heat-affected zones, and defect mechanisms (porosity, cracking, lack of fusion, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret weld symbols, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Experience working in production environments with a focus on process stability and quality

What Will Set You Apart
  • Experience across multiple welding modalities (e.g., arc + laser + resistance)
  • Background in automated or robotic welding systems and cell integration
  • Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, RT, PT, VT) and weld inspection standards
  • Experience in aerospace, pressure vessels, energy systems, or other high-spec applications

Benefits for Full-time Employees
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees
  • 401k
  • Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.
  • Flexible vacation policy
