Job description

Looking for a talented barista to join our team on campus! If you have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service, we want you. Come be a part of a fun and dynamic work environment!

** we are currently hiring for both our coffee trailer at Tempe and our store location at Downtown Phoenix

Ideally candidate is open to working both locations. 

Store hours 

Phx - 8:00 - 2:30 pm

Tempe - 8:00 - 4:30 pm

Requirements

- Must be able to lift 40 pounds

- Must be able to stand up to 8 hours a day

- Ability to climb ladder if necessary

- Must be able to drive golf cart

- Must have a food handlers card

- Reliable transportation to show up to work on time

- Maintains a flexible schedule

- Actively responds to group messages

Barista Responsibilities

- Performs daily tasks and holds themselves accountable to what is expected

- Maintains a clean work area and contributes towards all cleaning tasks and mandatory rules

- Finishes shift duties in a timely manner

- Works efficiently

- Comes ready to work and in proper attire

- Is respectful of coworkers, managers, and customers

- Receives feedback well and implements what is asked

- Upsells products, adds food/ retail items onto orders to create higher UPTs

- Follows daily specials

- Greets guests in a friendly manner and provides excellent customer service

- Capable of performing all POS duties, front and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures

- Executes and communicates all sales promotions and new product information effectively

Leadership Responsibilities

- No matter the title, shows pride in their work

- Uses proper judgement

- Asks questions – doesn’t assume or make rules

- Has proper demeanor during busy “peak hours” and can work in high volume/intense situations

- Follows the advised greeting of customers and maintains appropriate conversations

- Comes to work with a positive "leave it at the door" attitude
