About the Role:
Nadeau's Towing & Recovery LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable Tow Truck Operator to join our team in Lewiston, ME. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently, and take pride in helping people when they need it most, this is the opportunity for you! this is a part time position with a possibility of full time. pay is commission based NOT HOURLY, there was not an option for commision

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate tow trucks and recovery vehicles to assist motorists in need
  • Perform vehicle towing, roadside assistance, and accident recovery operations
  • Inspect and maintain tow truck equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and law enforcement
  • Navigate local roads and highways efficiently to respond to service calls in a timely manner
  • Complete accurate documentation including call logs, invoices, and incident reports
  • Follow all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred)
  • Prior towing, recovery, or heavy equipment operation experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of towing equipment and rigging
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional, calm demeanor under pressure
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in all weather conditions
  • Knowledge of the Lewiston, ME area and surrounding regions is a plus
