Pediatrix Medical Group of Washington is seeking a passionate and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital (MYMH)—a regional leader in neonatal care nestled in the vibrant and sunny Yakima Valley, the heart of Washington’s celebrated wine and hops-growing region!

Make a Meaningful Impact

  • Be part of a 15-bed Level IIIA NICU with an ADC of 10— the only one within a 70-mile radius, serving as a lifeline for South Central Washington.
  • Support a diverse and growing population with ~2,500 births annually and referrals from 5 critical access hospitals and a larger rural hospital.
  • Join a NICU with over 40 years of trusted service, now actively expanding and innovating in partnership with high-level OB and MFM providers.

Tools to Deliver Excellent Care

  • Provide care using conventional mechanical ventilation and bubble CPAP.
  • High-frequency ventilation and iNO are not currently offered.

Collaborative, Supportive Environment

  • Work with a full team of therapists (SLP, OT, PT) providing neurodevelopmental assessments and developmentally supportive care.
  • Our staffing model is aiming for 3 Neos/2.3 NNPs to provide 24/7 in-house coverage. Neos would cover daytime and NNPs the nighttime. 
  • Participate in weekly interdisciplinary meetings with our sister practice in Spokane—featuring journal clubs, M&M conferences, and clinical guideline reviews.
  • Enjoy strong referral relationships with top-tier children’s hospitals for complex cases and subspecialty support: Mary Bridge Children's Hospital (Tacoma), Seattle Children’s Hospital (Seattle), and Sacred Heart Children's Hospital (Spokane)

Benefits and Compensation

Pay Range (Base Pay): $110,000 - $140,000  

Other Types of Pay: Bonus potential. Ask us about potential tuition reimbursement assistance. 

Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis.  Regular full-time team members are eligible for the following:
