Come join St. Peter's Health Partners Community Hospice in the Catskill Region
Per Diem RN Community Hospice Homecare - Albany/Schenectady areas
The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for an RN seeking per diem employment to work as part of our Hospice Home Care Team -caring for patients and families residing primarily in Albany and Schenectady counties.
Needs would be during the week within Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30 pm. No weekend needs.
St. Peter's Health Partners Hospice Highlights:

What you will do:
  • Our RN Home Care case managers coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to develop a comprehensive plan of care to provide added support to patients and families.
  • This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with a team (our teams include Aides, LPNs, medical directors and NPs with specialized expertise in end of life care, social workers, chaplains, complementary therapists and volunteers).

What you will need:
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
  • Associate's degree in nursing, BSN preferred
  • 1 year experience as an RN required, preferably in Hospice/Home Care or acute care.
  • Valid Driver's License and Reliable vehicle
  • The RN must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written
  • High level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers
  • Understanding of Hospice principles preferred

Separate Rates for per diem based on monthly hours commitment
Pay Range for non-per diem: $38.00-$50.18 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
