Locum Tenens | ASAP

WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a CRNA for Locum Tenens coverage beginning ASAP. This opportunity supports surgical and OB anesthesia services and offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling with long-term assignment potential.


Assignment Highlights
  • Start: ASAP

  • Coverage Type: Locum Tenens

  • Commitment: Full-time preferred; Part-time minimum 2 weeks per month

  • Schedule: Mix of OR shifts (8sโ€“10s typical, 12s possible) and OB shifts (12s and 24s)

  • Setting: Surgical OR and OB anesthesia services

  • Onsite Requirement: Yes

This role supports an 8-room anesthesia environment consisting of 6 main ORs plus NORA and OB coverage. The practice follows a medically directed care team model with approximately 12 CRNAs and 6 anesthesiologists. Case mix includes GI, neuro, OB, GYN, healthy pediatrics (2+ years), orthopedics, and regional blocks. OB coverage includes approximately 160 deliveries per month with dedicated CRNA coverage in-house 24/7 and physician coverage in-house with backup call. CRNAs must be comfortable working both main OR and OB assignments, with limited supervision depending on assignment area. OB-only providers will not be considered.


Requirements

CRNA certification required.
OB anesthesia experience required.
Must be willing to cover both OR and OB assignments.
Clean file only โ€” no legal, malpractice, or pending cases.
Open to non-licensed candidates with proof of application; license must be obtained prior to final credentialing submission.
Must provide copy of valid out-of-state driverโ€™s license at presentation.
Out-of-state residency required.
