Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a change of pace, flexible hours and have a desire to make a difference in people’s lives? If so, this position is for you! NFI North is seeking two Part-time, Registered Nurses for our five bed Residential Treatment and Day Programs located in Newport, New Hampshire. This program specializes in providing supported housing services to adults transitioning from and/or awaiting admission to Glencliff Home.

The Newport Community Residential Program augments our existing continuum of care in large part due to our continued growth in serving this valuable population in NH. The Agency has a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, nursing, medical, case management, vocational, educational and peer support services and life skills to adults living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and/or complex medical needs. The participants residing in these treatment facilities are seeking independent home-like living.

Responsibilities: The RN is responsible for assisting our psychiatrist and medical team with the planning and implementation of medical and psychiatric nursing care for our program participants. They provide direct medical and psychiatric nursing care, medical assessment of program participants, medical documentation and record keeping, medication administration and are responsible for managing the program’s medical supplies. In addition to working weekdays in a team environment this position has on-call responsibilities. 

Qualifications: Degree from accredited School of Nursing must hold NH, RN License and experience with the program population is preferred.
