UnityPoint Health – Des Moines is offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus for full-time eligible RNs (Including Residents) hired or offered into acute inpatient roles between April 1 and July 31, 2026, paid in milestone-based installments.


Relocation Assistance:
Up to $10,000 for full-time offers when relocating more than 50 miles.

Shift: Full and Part Time

          Nights, Day/Night Rotation, Weekend Package

          Rotating weekends and holidays

Shift Differentials:

  • Shift differential of $5/hr for hours worked 3pm-11pm

  • Provides and coordinates nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
  • Completes documentation to assure an accurate record of patient’s care.
  • Utilizes critical thinking in making independent judgments, and maintains responsibility for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients.

  • Minimum of twelve months acute RN experience.
    • All newly licensed RNs or RNs with less than 12 months of acute RN experience and who are interested in this department or any other Acute RN role within UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, are required to participate in the RN Residency program.
