Part-Time Registered Nurse

Maine Family Planning is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse. This position is based out of the Bangor clinic working in the community on our Mobile Medical unit (MMU). This position is one day a week.

The Mobile Medical Unit Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for supporting the delivery and coordination of clinical services on the Mobile Medical Unit in collaboration with MMU staff and leadership. The MMU Registered Nurse provides direct patient care and care coordination that aligns with Maine Family Planning's mission, core values, and initiatives.

PrEP is a medication that prevents HIV infection. This role includes maintaining the PrEP database, conducting outreach to patients who are due for PrEP injections, and assisting with PrEP administration. The MMU Registered Nurse also supports clinical operations through blood draws, injections, and other clinical procedures as needed. The nurse works closely with the MMU clinical team to enhance continuity of care, patient engagement, and the overall effectiveness of mobile services.
