Registered Nurse (Erlanger, KY - Levi Strauss)

Part-Time (16 hours/week - Tuesday/Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm)

The Registered Nurse provides clinical support through patient triage, prior authorizations, prescription refill requests, care coordination, population health initiatives, and day-to-day clinical operations. This role works closely with providers and patients to support Vigilant Health's unique approach to healthcare delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
  • Three (3) years of nursing experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Obtain vital signs, perform laboratory testing and clinical procedures accurately and efficiently, and promptly report abnormal findings to the Provider (Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician).
  2. Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the patient visit, including room preparation, patient triage, exam room turnover, and clinical support activities.
  3. Maintain laboratory equipment, procedural instruments, supplies, and documentation in accordance with CLIA requirements and clinic protocols.
  4. Support the Nurse Practitioner and clinical team with population health management activities and patient outreach initiatives.
  5. Perform nursing duties and patient care activities within the scope of licensure and professional practice standards.
  6. Schedule patients, compile and maintain medical records, and document clinical information accurately and timely within the electronic medical record.
  7. Ensure laboratory results are reviewed, communicated, managed, and documented appropriately.
  8. Retrieve and review outside medical records and relevant clinical information as needed to support patient care.
  9. Interact with patients, coworkers, providers, and client representatives in a positive, professional, and respectful manner that reflects the values of Vigilant Health.
  10. Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and support efforts to improve patient outcomes and operational excellence.
  11. Assist with additional clinic and operational responsibilities as assigned.
