Title: Licensed Practical Nurse III-Evening Supervisor, prov.

Description of Duties
This position, located at Monroe Community Hospital, is responsible for providing direct and indirect care to convalescent and chronically/seriously ill patients and providing advanced practical nursing services in a long term setting. This position is distinguished from Licensed Practical Nurse II by virtue of coordinating unit-based projects and delegation of tasks to subordinate staff in a unit. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or other higher-level staff member. General supervision is exercised over subordinate staff such as Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Unit Aides. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma plustwo (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience as a Licensed Professional Nurse, six (6) months of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS :
Possession of a valid New York State Registered Professional Nursing (RN) license or valid New York State Licensed Professional Nursing (LPN) license.
